Sirius

Weight / Length: 5.0kg / 33.9cm (on admission);
One of four turtles (Titan, Styx, Sirius, Eros) rescued from entanglement in a ghost net (discarded fishing gear) by Club Med Kani resort (North Malé Atoll), and brought to our turtle rescue centre (thanks, guys!)

Sirius suffers from lacerations and abrasions on her flippers and carapace (shell).
She is active in her pool and able to dive below the water surface, so we hope for a quick recovery and release back into the ocean in the coming days.
