Reefscapers Diaries from 2016 onwards
Following the global bleaching event in 2016, we started to catalogue our work and experiments in detail.
We update our Reefscapers diaries each month, to record our work & progress, successes & failures, in coral propagation & reef regeneration. Our teams of dedicated coral biologists work tirelessly, 365 days of the year, based at our marine discovery centres at Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru here in the Maldives.

Coral Bleaching 2016
The Maldives experienced unusually high ocean temperatures during March-May 2016, which caused paling and bleaching in corals both on our Reefscapers frames and on the natural reefs.
