Ronaldo is currently being treated for an eye infection.

Ronaldo arrived along with his sibling Momotaro, and both turtle hatchlings were very susceptible to eye infections, showing very weak body condition in their first few months at our facility.
Unfortunately, Ronaldo became very unresponsive, and was syringe-fed very small amount of pureed fish to give him the nutrients he so desperately needed. Despite our best efforts, Ronaldo sadly passed away on 22 January 2017.
