Cali was found floating at the surface tangled in fishing net and was rescued by staff at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru on 22 October 2016. Both front flippers have sustained serious wounds, where the net was cutting into the skin. Luckily, Cali did not show symptoms of floating syndrome, and has no problem diving.

Antibiotics and wound care every other day. Cali’s wounds are making positive progress and wound care has been decreased. Cali is able to dive normally and will be considered for release in December.
