Acorn Rescue Turtle

Hawksbill turtle (RB.EI.032), admitted 22 March 2019, Six Senses, Laamu Atoll, Maldives

Weight / Length: 2.0kg / 26.1cm (on admittance);

 

Acorn was found and rescued by Emperor Dive Laamu and Six Senses (Laamu Atoll), on 21 March, and arrived at our Centre the following day.

She had been entangled in a discarded cement bag and is suffering from lacerations to the left front flipper. She is currently under treatment and we hope to release her back into the wild very soon.
