On 3 April we were lucky to witness a large pod of False Killer Whales close to Kuda Huraa.

Way back in December 2012, our team of Marine Savers biologists welcomed a very unusual guest … a false killer whale! This 300kg/3m gentle giant was was found stranded in the lagoon at Landaa Giraavaru, in a weakened state and unable to swim properly. Read about the rescue attempt and enjoy some exciting photos.
