Appearance:
- Small, upright bushes
- Branch ends are flat/blunt
- Branches are curved when viewed from above
- Verrucae are uniform
- Branches radiate from initial point of growth
Colour: Most commonly cream, green or pink
Similar species: Pocillopora kelleheri is less compact and usually slightly plating, P. verrucosa has larger verrucae.
Habitat: Most commonly exposed reef fronts
