Appearance:

  • Small, upright bushes
  • Branch ends are flat/blunt
  • Branches are curved when viewed from above
  • Verrucae are uniform
  • Branches radiate from initial point of growth

Colour: Most commonly cream, green or pink

Similar species: Pocillopora kelleheri is less compact and usually slightly plating, P. verrucosa has larger verrucae.

Habitat: Most commonly exposed reef fronts
