- Columns normally common when wave action strong, plating in sheltered areas
Colour: Usually grey or brown, dark or pale
Corallites:
- Interconnected and Mixed sizes
- Circular
- Plocoid (have own walls)
Similar species: This species should not be confused with any other
Habitat: Shallow areas with strong wave action, also deeper on reef walls or in caves
