January 2012 – Saifa, the young female Olive Ridley turtle, was found 10 days ago entangled in a fishing net. She was suffering from minor lacerations, and had buoyancy problems due to stress.
Saifa was nursed back to health at Landaa’s MDC, and was successfully returned back to the ocean on 2nd January.
