23 September 2011 – A month ago, 127 Green Turtle hatchlings emerged from the sand at Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru.

Resident marine biologists helped by Four Seasons staff worked out the best way to ensure the maximum number of offspring reach the open sea. 15 of the newborn reptiles were sent to Four Seasons Resort Kuda Huraa, Maldives, where they will be raised over a one year period before being released in the Indian Ocean with higher potential of survival rate.
